Really, I do. They feed my hungry soul with their accolades and let me know that my writing isn't total crap after I've gotten yet another form rejection from yet another pro publication.

And I realize that I am the Queen of Open-Ended Endings.

However.

This person HAD to have gone to my profile to find two of the three fics she reviewed. Is it too much to ask that she actually, you know...read it? At least the part that says "I'm not writing fanfic anymore" in big bold letters?

I won't be continuing any of these stories. EVER. I'm sorry. I realize that I left several of them open for post-NFA goodness, and probably could have gotten entire virtual seasons out of those various scenarios, but I don't work that way. Considering the fact that one of those stories was posted in March 2005, one in August 2005, and the last one in August of this year after sitting on my hard drive for eight months, which I posted as a last hurrah...

No! No continuations! Not happening! AUGH.

Although it does make me kind of sad that the Muses never gave me any ideas for continuing some of those stories. Because some of them were damb interesting, to me, anyway.

All right. Back to the A&tS fic. It's not going to edit itself.

Oh, man. I've had situations where I've written "This is it! There will be no sequel!" on the fic itself and had an announcement on the same page that this is a fandom I have completely left, and people will still ask me when I'm going to write more. o.O There seems to be a resurgence of BtVS fans lately who are completely blind to the big "Finished in 2002" on half the fics out there. *sigh*

Argh, I know. I mean, yes, it's flattering that they liked it enough to want more, but why would they think that something that hasn't been updated in over two years is going to get a sequel? Especially when the author has pretty obviously switched fandoms?

And you know, it seems like I get reviews like that on nearly everything I ever wrote (other than the ReaverFic, on which I explicity put at the bottom: Don't even THINK about asking me for a sequel to this). It makes me wonder if I've been doing it wrong...
