The teacher's union in Utah is a powerful animal, and the voucher thing went down in flames yesterday. Oh well.

I really need to write...something. Bah. I have concepts, but no plots. I'd love to do something with time traveling, or dinosaurs, or time-traveling dinosaurs...And part (possibly most) of my problem with that is that I don't subscribe to "millions of years," and I'm not sure I can gloss over that to actually make the thing commercial. That's assuming I could even come up with a plot. And again I say: *sigh*

Why not try for the Christian YA market? I know you don't do novels but YA isn't quite as long. I know everyone is doing YA these days but I honestly think you'd be good at it.

Even the YA novel market is longer than what I do. I think I'd be good at it too, but the idea of jumping into something like that is, well, intimidating. And it doesn't get me any closer to my self-imposed goal of "finishing one short story a month for the year of 2007." Which I'm failing at.

Bah. It doesn't help that I have a massive headache and I'm supposed to be schooling Da Boy right now...
