agilebrit[poking flist] This came up on the GAFF board recently. Where is the line between R and NC-17, when it comes to violence? I've about come to the conclusion that there is no such thing as an NC-17 rating for violence, and two movies (one of which I've seen, and the other of which I've heard about) come to mind: "The Passion of the Christ" and "Kill Bill." If neither of those rated an NC-17....then where does the MPAA draw the line? And where should we, as fanfic writers, draw the line?
