Yes, I realize that it's Thursday, but we started having this thing on Wednesdays and switched to Thursdays and I'm stubborn and it's alliterative so there.

Anyhow, [livejournal.com profile] snarking_boojum and I get together and crit each other's stuff and talk writing on Thursdays, and tonight the handsome and charming [livejournal.com profile] kenrand joined us. He seemed amused by the DragonFic, so that's a good.

And now that [livejournal.com profile] snarking_boojum is done (mostly) with the DragonFic (which now has a title; I'm calling it "The Affairs of Dragons"), it's bleeding and staring at me mournfully. The good thing is that most of it is easily fixable. The bad thing is that I formatted it for LJ in another doc...and am thus going to have to fix everything TWICE.

Augh. *is dum and does not thimk stuf thru*

I also need to start the next thing, which is either "dragon cattle ranchers in 1880 Texas" (don't ask), or Lilah Morgan aboard the Serenity. Why is she aboard the Serenity, and what does it have to do with Jayne? Dude, I have no idea. But if you do, o flist, drop me a line, because the thing is due March 10.

I've also come to the realization that everything original I've written...has animals of some sort. Beagles, gargoyles, dragons, horses...I swear I've written five, but the fifth one is escaping me at the moment. *can't brain*

The lovely and effulgent [livejournal.com profile] justmalea gave me some outstanding advice on the GargoyleFic, as did the handsome and charming [livejournal.com profile] kurukami. Many thanks and hugs to both of them.

In other news, I've been wrestling with Paypal and fraudulent charges on my account for the last week. Tomorrow I get to go to my bank and talk with them about $87 in overdraft fees because of these fraudulent charges. I'm so thrilled about this. NOT. At least they determined that they WERE fraudulent charges rather quickly; I just wish they'd done it quickly enough that the charges hadn't hit my bank account--because the girl on the phone assured me that they wouldn't. GR.

i've never been effulgent before!!! *beams proudly* i'm really glad you found my feedback helpful. :) i knew from the writer's salon that you wanted REAL feedback, not "oh, it's so great, it's perfect, don't change a thing!" feedback. so, um, yeah, anyway. i have no idea. my brain is broken lol.

i'm effulgent. ;) hehehehhee that's awesome. :)

If I didn't want real feedback, I wouldn't give it to the Hubby, who is painfully honest about what works for him and what doesn't.

And yes. You are effulgent. :)

Due Mar 10? Would that be for the Decade of Buffy ficathon? I'm trying to finish mine this weekend and get it to my beta asap, since I'm on vacation Mar 5 to 12.

No, it's for some crossover thingy I signed up for last month. I'll have to dig the email out to find out what it actually is. *has a brain like a sieve these days*
