LJ ate my post!!!
Apr. 27th, 2004 12:03 amGosh darnit. *grumble* Now I have to remember what I said before.
Okay...Da Boy asked to go to the zoo last night--at nine o'clock, when, of course, the place is closed up tight. So I told him that if he was good, we could go today. He was, so we did. I *heart* my membership. Everyone should have one, seriously. It gets me into 130 other zoos too.
Wendy's didn't screw up my order this time (although they tried; I checked before driving away), so I got to eat what I actually ordered. I loves the Spicy Chicken. Le YUM. And today was a beautiful day too.
We got to see: a keeper working with the elephants; both wolves, one of which chased a magpie for us; the sloth, actually awake and eating, which is rare enough to be interesting; baby meerkats; and a red panda doing something besides sleeping. Then we rode the train and visited the gift shop, where I bought a diecast truck/boat trailer combo for Da Boy and a pair of Wild Bryde zebra earrings for me.
And of course, that completely took the starch out of my knickers for the day. I've stared at the Pottage monster. I even know what should come next. Have I written it? No. Will I? I hope so.
