Movie day!

So, we went to see "Night at the Museum" this afternoon.

Dude.

If you leave your brain at the door, the thing is, to quote it, "Freakin' awesome!" The CGI is quite good, it's nonstop funny, and all three of us thoroughly enjoyed it. Be sure to stay partway through the credits so you can see that Dick Van Dyke can still dance.

I just saw that the other day! Wasn't Dick Van Dyke hilarious? He is my hero. And Mickey Rooney, oh, God. I wanted to make a list of all the little nicknames he made up. My friends and I cannot stop quoting it at school. "Saaave yourselves!" I love the poor little Romans and cowboys. <3

Now, I must read the book this was based on. Because hopefully it had a better explanation for why everyone went back to their places before sunup. Of course, anything would be a better explanation...because the movie didn't explain anything.
