I wasn't even going to go to the cocktail party at WriterCon...until I saw that dress. And then I was all "Oh, man, I have to have that." Because of the whole Eastern-influence Firefly thing.

How nice to see you! I love the colour of the dress - I have some petunias in my gargen almost the same colour. And guess what? Here, thousands of miles away, I have almost the same shoes!

I definitely didn't find the shoes in the place I expected to. One of our malls has been turned into a sort of indoor swap meet, with a lot of Asian and Hispanic influence, so I thought I might find something in one of those little shops. Where did I find them? JC Penney. On clearance!

They had the dress in red and blue too, but the purple just spoke to me. *is strange*
