- Sat, 14:15: The tattoo story is out the door. Fly, be free, little story! Bring me piles of cashy money. #getpaid
- Sat, 15:19: RT @SamSykesSwears: I was once told my advice alienated insecure writers. You know what else alienates insecure writers? Everything.
- Sat, 16:03: Dear @twitter: I don't give a flying crap about the stupid #WorldCup. Why the hell did you think I do? Yeah, just got an email alert. #wtf
- Sat, 18:24: RP activity log updated. That thing gets away from me SO quick. Need a hashtag for "obsessive record-keeping for things that don't matter."
- Sat, 18:36: I wish I was kidding about the obsessive record-keeping. http://t.co/v8vE9sWomV Maybe the IRS should take notes.
- Sun, 09:57: RT @JoAnneSieppert: So should you! http://t.co/JwNqejlo13

My Writing Year So Far.
Jun. 29th, 2014 06:19 pmHell's Process Server: 5700 words
Time-Traveling Ben: 8500 words
Mean Streets: 3900 words
Clockwork Necromancer: 5200 words
Tattoo Story: 6000 words
Baen Story: 8000 words
For a total of 37,300 complete words so far. Which is far behind where I was last year (over 80,000 words across 9 stories, holy crap), but last year I was a freakin' machine. One of the stories this year has already sold (via invitation!).
The next thing on my plate is the I Am the Abyss story, but that's not due until October 1, so I'm thinking I want to scribble something else between now and then while I'm noodling what is going to be a very ambitious project.
As for the State of the Subs, I have 19 stories out right now--and most of those are at markets that pay pro rates. And I just hope that a few of them find homes in those markets.
