- Sat, 12:32: All I want for Christmas is to finish these outlines. Nearly done with 6. Still no idea about 7. Plot bunnies laughing at me. #sendbooze
- Sat, 19:04: And outline #6 is in the can. Finally. One left. Here, bunny bunny bunny...
- Sat, 19:43: LJ's down and I was going to do a post on gender in my fiction and the ratio of male protags vs female. Guess I'll poke the bunnies instead.
- Sat, 20:19: Apropos of a Fandom Secret.… http://t.co/EqexdiCX
- Sat, 21:50: Looking up brain cancer and process servers. Not for the same story, thank the dear and fluffy Lord. Still deciding #7, leaning toward Alex.
Dec. 23rd, 2012
Well, let's see.
Dec. 23rd, 2012 08:55 pmFootball has basically sucked today, with the notable exceptions of the Packers and Broncos. I've spent a lot of time fruitlessly arguing with people over on Larry's blog.
And I've added... *counts* five whole words to this outline, without actually figuring out what it's actually about. At this point I have: Alex Jarrett, mad scientist/billionaire extraordinaire, is trying to cure brain cancer. The Law of Unintended Consequences bites him on the ass in a very weird way. Something with telomeres, nanotech, and stem cells. "No, Alex, you may not cure cancer by infecting everyone with lycanthropy instead."
I have the feeling that this plot requires way more research than I am willing or able to do, especially in the time allotted. And the potential for Getting It Wrong is extremely high, here.
Ugh.
