Making progress on the outline.
Dec. 15th, 2012 11:42 amAmazing what a help a quiet house can be.
So I've thought more about this outline for the new Ben story. I haven't gotten any closer on what my vamp wants that the wolves are unwilling to give him (it needs to be something completely reasonable from his perspective and unreasonable from theirs, which I think is why it's giving me trouble).
But I've gotten closer to a motivation for the Pack re: assimilating an unwilling Ben and Janni into their structure, and another reason this goes horribly wrong for everyone involved, and I've come up with a working title for it too, which gives me a happy. I mean, I've got an END at the bottom of the steampunk werewolf western, have had for quite some time now, and it still doesn't have a title.
I've also figured out that I need to reverse my Plot Turn 2 and my Midpoint, which is a perfectly acceptable thing to do as far as I'm concerned. I'm not locked into the structure; I'm flexible enough to realize that it's a guideline rather than a commandment.
Finally, it's cooking. I should kick my family out more often.
