You know, fairy tales are dark. Bad things happen to people in them. And Lord knows I'm not shy about doing bad things to people in my fiction. (Hi, Ben!) But I'm not really sure that the tone I set at the beginning of the Cow Story is appropriate (Gruesome and Graphic Death by Cow), considering the light tone that the rest of the thing takes.
Also, I ran it past the Hubby, and he enjoyed it but said that it lagged...somewhere. He wasn't sure where. I should print it out, I guess, and go through it the old-fashioned way, eyes on paper like a Real Writer.
And in between that, I still need to figure out where my 250 words in the NovelThing are going to come from. At this point, I got nothin'.
