I've had a slight toucan obsession over the last few months. The Hubby and I are seriously discussing buying an aracari, in fact. And I just realized that I never posted the pix from our Christmastime trip to the Dallas World Aquarium.

It's my favorite narrative crutch! I have a conversation going, and it's suddenly interrupted by a monster showing up.

Of course, if I'd actually remembered my favorite narrative crutch, oh...three weeks ago, I would have saved myself a whole lotta hair-tearin'-out.
