And saw "Live Free or Die Hard."

DUDE, IT WAS AWESOME.

This is what a summer blockbuster should be. A big dumb movie with a big dumb plot where lots of shit gets blown up, and the hero has been bloodied, beat up, shot...and yet is still standing at the end, leaving you cheering. The set-pieces were fabulous, there was a really COOL fighter jet (OMG *flails*), Justin Long is cute (is he getting type-cast or what?), Bruce still has it.

We were hugely entertained by this movie.

"Ratatoullie" (or however you spell that) opens today...

And in other news, I realized last night that this is the second story in a row where I've used a hidden pregnancy as a plot device.

But you know what? I don't care. It works for those stories, and is thus staying.

Editors read writers' blogs.

Now, I'm not silly enough to stick a link to my LJ in a cover letter, but it's not like this thing is all that hard to find. If you Google my name, my LJ is the fifth entry down (although it seems I share a name with some singer or other). Google my email address, and this is the second entry.

Therefore, all submission and rejection entries will be under flock and key. Of course, sales will be out there for everyone to see. :)
