Been thinking about getting a 2007 Writers' Market. So I hie me over to Buy.com and see what they have.

Lo and behold, there's a "Writer's Market"... and a "Novel and Short Story Writer's Market."

Now, it seems to me, practically speaking, that the N&SSWM would be the more useful book for me. I don't write nonfiction or technical articles or books, and I'm sure that the WM has all that good stuff in there too...but it's also a couple of bucks more expensive, and why should I pay for stuff I'm not going to use?

So. Enlighten me, o flist. Is there a good reason to spring for the full WM, or am I just as well off with the N&SSWM?

I will also hie me to the library tomorrow Monday (duh!) and scope them both out.

*wipes brow* All I have left is the drop-off scene. I may let Charlie keep one of the babies, although what he's going to do with a dragon is anyone's guess, and since they're sentient, they're not really "pets." But the poor guy got shot in the line of duty; it's the least I can do for him.

I wonder if I can finish it in under ten thousand words...
