I finally got the bright idea of hitting my favorite quote site to find a title. So, here's my "We Will Not Fade Away" Ficathon entry.

Length: Short story (a little over 1500 words)

Notes: Had a hard time with this, mostly because of the whole "celebration" aspect. Hopefully a pizza party and a toast fulfills that requirement. The title is from Henry Wadsworth Longfellow: "Noble souls, through dust and heat, rise from disaster and defeat the stronger." ( clicky for ficcy! )
