We've been drooling over PT Cruisers ever since they came out. And the Hubby said I could have one when he finished building his 67 Mustang Fastback. However, the Little Green Beastlet was getting on in years, so the Hubby's been kind of hinting that we might get a PT Cruiser if the right deal came along. Especially since we now have a friend in the car biz.

So, I was poking around the internet last night, and came across a screaming deal (we're all about screaming deals, remember) on a 2004 PT with less than 1500 (yes, you saw that right) miles on it. So, we toddled up to Ogden this morning, after making a phone call to be sure it was still there, test drove it...

And, long story short, it's sitting in the garage right now. It's a pretty stripped down base model, but the only things it doesn't have that I wanted were keyless entry and a cruise control. I've been living without those anyway, so no loss, really. This is as close as I've ever come to having a brand new car.

So, the Little Green Beastlet is gone. It was a great little car, the best one I've ever had, and I'll miss it. We had some good times together. But it's been replaced by the Purple Cruiserberry--and hopefully I'll build some good memories with this one as well.
