WIP notes:

TempCorpFic--Annnnd...my kink rears its ugly head again. This is fic number five where I've either been tempted to have someone feed themselves to a vampire (specifically Spike), or where I've actually done it (twice). In this case, Fred is Spike's "anchor" to being corporeal. Thus far, physical contact has been sufficient to keep him solid. But there's this niggling little thing whispering in my ear: "Blood is life. Makes you other than dead. It's always blood." What's even weirder is that for me, it's not a sexual kink, but an intimacy kink, because in the context where I do these things (or think about doing them), it's not a throat bite, but a wrist bite. I know. I'm weird. *bangs head on desk some more*

In other news, I think I may have figured out how I'm going to break Lilah's contract, but I still need to figure out what Lindsey's Evil Plot is and how it will play out. Hopefully in such a way that Imzadi won't hate me too much. And I'm still not so sure that the first person POV is working for this, but I've gotten so far in it that I'd hate to abandon it now.

New MustardVerse "What If I Stumble" fic--nothing much on that front. It's on the back burner for now, I think, while I wrestle with the TempCorp fic. Need to bring Dru back (without staking her in the end); need to get Spike into an apartment (with the Demon Protection Racket subplot that entails); might need to get him a new dog. Having trouble getting this one off the ground.

NaNo Novel--On the back burner for now. I've got nothin'.

CYA Ficathon fic--Argh. Need to figure out how to separate Fred and Illyria (without killing Illyria, because I like her, dammit). Once I do that, I think it'll flow, but my brain is stalling on that particular aspect.

BlitzFic--[livejournal.com profile] sunnyd_lite requested historical Spike and Dru, in Europe during something famous. I poked through some serial killer sites for awhile, wasn't inspired, and went back to the London Blitz (which she suggested in the first place). And last night, the Hubby gave me a hook to hang it on, but it will require quite a bit of research. Just hope I haven't bitten off more than I can chew with this one. At this point, I'll say that it involves werewolves in London *grin*, and comparing werewolves and vampires to Nazis and Communists, with a whole parellel thing going there. With Spike being a possible mirror to Trotsky.

Um. That sounds really ambitious. Argh.

Title: Valentine's Gift
Author: babies stole my dingo (agilebrit)
Fandom: Angel
Rating: PG-13
Length: Drabble (100 words)
Disclaimer: Joss is the genius behind these characters; I am but a lowly follower. I make no money from any of this, so please don't sue me.
Written for: [livejournal.com profile] open_on_sunday's "Valentine" challenge.
Notes: A Fanged Four drabble. Probably been done already; if it has, very sorry.

"Where have you two been?" Darla demanded. "It's almost sunrise."

"Sorry, dearest," Angelus answered, giving her a peck on the lips. "Willie-boy had to find the perfect St. Valentine's Day gift for his Drusilla."

"And did he?"

Angelus turned them so they were facing Spike and Dru. Spike shyly handed Dru a box, which she opened eagerly, like a child. She lifted what was in it out, holding it up to her cheek momentarily before taking a hungry bite out of it. "Oh, my Spike! A human heart! And it's still warm. You do bring me the nummiest treats, darling."
