Good morning, Flist!

Random observations....

President Bush is having a press conference as I type this. He looks tired.

I'm hearing that Yassir Arafat died. Maybe now there's hope for peace in Israel. There aren't many people on the planet that I would cheer if they left it, but he's one of them. Fidel Castro is another.

We're heading out to Colorado to see the Hubby's Mom on Sunday. My to-do list:
Clean master bath
Clean downstairs bath
Write
Put the laundry away
Iron shirts and pants for Hubby's next trip
Vacuum the stairs
Write
Dust my shelves
Scrub the linoleum in the entry and the downstairs bath, laundry room, and mud room
Brush the dog
Write
Wash Da Boy
Find the inverter so that, if we drive, Da Boy will be able to watch DVDs on my computer
Make reservations for both us and the dog
Write
Put the dishes away
Cash checks so we actually have money for the trip
Pack
Write

Argh. Yeah, I'm not sure how much I'll be online the next couple of days.

Gakked from [livejournal.com profile] appomattoxco. Pick one sentence from each of your current WIP's and post them under their titles. Erm, I don't generally title things until they're written, unless a title just jumps out and bites me on the butt.

From my Angel S5 "Spike's corporeality was only temporary" fic:
I would always have a place in my heart for her, a large one, but if her bloody cookie dough didn't finish baking soon, maybe I'd have a brownie instead.

From my new MustardVerse fic, in which Spike moves to LA and meets Lorne for the first time:
Not full of the Slayer anymore, but full of Someone Else, Someone he shouldn't have been full of at all. He'd gone and broken the rules again, the naughty boy.
Er, yeah, that's two sentences. Sue me.

From my NaNoWriMo novel:
A sword-carrying figure in a black felt cowboy hat, a tan canvas duster, and black cowboy boots leaped in through the smashed window and grinningly eyed the tableau.

Argh. I've written nothing today. Of course, I'll probably be up for another five hours, so, still have time, I guess.
