Title: Ice Cream Headache
Fandom: Angel
Rating: G
Words: 100
Disclaimer: Not mine, they're Whedon's. *sob*
Written for: [livejournal.com profile] open_on_sunday's "Ice Cream" challenge.
Notes: Another in my Spike and Illyria series, the rest of which can be found here.

"You silly bint, what are you eating now?"

"Do not question me, half-breed. In my day, I would have pulled your intestines out through your ears for your insolence."

"That may be, Highness, but your day's past. Try this instead." Spike handed her a carton of Neapolitan ice cream from his freezer.

She took a small bite, and smiled in pleased surprise. Her next spoonful was huge, and the headache immediately hit her right between the eyes. "This substance...is delicious, but its effects are deleterious. What an exquisite pain."

"Just like you, pet." He grinned. "But don't ever change."

Title: Too Late
Fandom: Angel
Rating: PG-13
Words: 100

Written for: [livejournal.com profile] tv100's "We're too late" challenge.
Notes: Another in my Spike & Illyria series.

"Bloody hell, we're too late." Spike scowled around at the carnage.

"This upsets you." Illyria tilted her head. "Why?"

"I hate when the hopeless get eaten before we can help them."

"You wish to do violence. This I understand. The thirst for vengeance was strong among my kind. Thousands died before our blades before that thirst was quenched."

"I'll settle for three vampires."

"Let us go. I will kill your half-breeds, and you will write it down on your clipboard."

"Hey! You don't get to have all the fun."

"Very well. You may kill one of them," she conceded.

Title: A Dark And Stormy Night
Fandom: Angel
Rating: PG
Words: 100
Disclaimer: Not mine, they're Whedon's. *sob*
Written for: [livejournal.com profile] challenge100's "It was a dark and stormy night" challenge
Notes: Takes place the night of the series finale. Spike's POV.

It was a dark and stormy night. Spike grimaced. Even Edward Bulwer-Lytton hadn't envisioned this sort of night. Rain sluiced down from the angry sky like the tears of a petulant god denied a bedtime story--Stop that, he told himself. Bad enough that his poetry was horrid enough to choke a Fyarl Demon; now his prose was headed the same direction. Tonight he needed to keep his mind on his business. It felt as if the very fires of Hell itself had been unleashed to scorch the Earth...

Bloody apocalypses, always bringing out the awful writer in him.
