More random stuff
Mar. 15th, 2004 09:57 pmWent and saw the new Depp movie, "Secret Window" today. It was...disturbing. [Announcer voice] "When good writers go bad, coming soon to Fox!"
I bid on three book auctions on eBay today...and won all three, at what I consider bargain-basement prices. Two at three seconds to go in the auction, and one at four. I gave myself an extra second on the last one because I was in the middle of two IM conversations at the time, and I didn't want my little bid packet to get delayed too much if it happened to bump into something coming downstream.

Man. After not bidding on anything for me for awhile, this felt good. Of course, I have about 30 books downstairs, waiting to be read, but I still have this list of books, and I have to grab them when I can, because the ones left on the list are getting harder and harder to find. Heh. Especially at the prices I just got them at.
Wonder if I'll get a nastygram for that third one? [evil grin]
