AAAUUUUGGGGHHHHHH
Feb. 17th, 2004 12:15 pmDamb Muse. I wish she'd let me see these cute little things before I published the stupid fic--in three places. Crap crap crap.
It would have been perfect if, at the end of "Indispensable, Exquisite Cats," Spike had covered Fred with his duster while she slept.
And about that duster anyway....Ever notice that people who don't care for Spike tend to call it "a trophy he stripped from a murder victim"--and point to the fact that he still wears it as evidence that he hasn't changed since he got the soul? I beg to differ with that characterization. Vampires and Slayers have a Dance they do; it's a combat situation. He didn't "murder" Nikki. He bested her in a fair fight--well, as fair as fights ever get between vampires and Slayers, anyway. She was the Slayer, not some helpless victim. Does anyone think that she would have been wrong if, during the fight, he'd stripped off his vest, and she had kept it after she dusted him?
Well. Now I'm debating if I should change "Cats" and replace it on FFN. Thoughts?
