Happy Thanksgiving!

I guess. I'm feeling rather...odd...today. Hubby has to work, and I have no turkey because I neglected to go shopping in time. So, meh. It's just me and Da Boy and the pets, watching the Dog Show and football. Not much different than any other day, really. I've thought about making one of my Mega-Salads, or Wif Burritos, or heading over to the Golden Corral or one of those other places that's open on Thanksgiving so people like me will have somewhere to go... and I really just can't be arsed.

I'm thankful for many things. My health is excellent. Da Boy has actually been remarkably good today. I have a Hubby who loves me very much, and it's quite mutual. My family is awesome (although they're not close enough, geographically). You guys completely and totally rock. And my Muse may be an Evil Bitch, but she occasionally gets the job done in interesting and unexpected ways. I need to pick an anthropomorphic personification for her...

I'm not big on the family get together and big to-do that just all has to be un-to-done, clean up wise. Still, it does feel strange when you end up doing nothing at all.

An anthropomorphic personification for the muse, though. Donkey, maybe? It won't do a thing if she doesn't want to but when she does, she can really kick ..., well, you know.
