And "Serenity" was playing with "The 40-Year-Old Virgin."

And I'm just wondering--because we left when they were in the bar with drunk girls in wild wigs having fun with various marital aids--is there a point at which "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" actually gets good? Because all I saw was a bunch of supposed men acting like junior-high little BOYS, laughing and giggling about sex. It was like a Farrelly Brothers movie without the humor or heart. And I found it vile. It wasn't funny; it was just plain offensive.

I never saw "Virgin," despite all my friends telling me I MUST, because the ad campaign made me uncomfortable. "Something that SHOULD have happened a long time ago." That "should have" makes me twitchy. I don't like being indirectly called a failure for not having been laid, though I'm far from 40. Eh.

Well, I'm one of those old-fashioned people who thinks that people should really wait until they're married before they have sex. Color me quaint; I have vast admiration for people who wait, because Lord knows it's not easy to do nowadays. Especially with movies like this out there. *barfs in Steve Carrell's general direction* There's nothing "wrong" with not having sex.
