agilebritI realized the other day that I hadn't ever finished uploading the pix from the Seattle trip. So, without further ado...
Goldenrod Crab Spider: I saw this beautiful spider when I noticed the bumblebee hanging rather unnaturally from the plant and thought "Hm. That doesn't look right." Not something you get to see every day.
Various butterflies:
Milkweed Longhorn:
Ospreys! Nesting!
And a squirrel, who was quite sure we couldn't see him, flattened out on the tree limb like that.
These were all shot around Flathead Lake. What a lovely place!
In other news, I haven't written a thing. I emailed the CatFeet story to another market today, because my printer is having *cough*issues*cough* and I couldn't print it out to send it to the place it was supposed to go next.
*cries* I HAVE NO PLOT. I have giant bugs and nothing to do with them. HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN TO MEEEEEE??? I have two versions of the story, one where the protag is an entomologist (sorry, flist, but it's easy enough to change), and another where he's one of the oil company execs partially responsible for the disaster in the first place.
And I don't have anything for him to DO. There's no frelling conflict. He doesn't want anything. He's not talking to me.
Damn damn damn. And hell. Shall I add a crap to that for good measure?
