So, after that big chunk of writing I did on Friday, I got about a hundred words done yesterday and none today so far.
Part of my problem is that I've succeeded in making my main character (I hesitate to call him the "protagonist," because, dude, he so isn't) almost completely unsympathetic. This is shiny in one way, because people will be cheering when he gets his final comeuppance...on the other hand, he's kind of a cardboard cutout right now. I mean, there's totally nothing likeable about this guy. At all.
I thought about giving him a girlfriend, whom he treats well and ostensibly loves him, which would give us another layer to his personality, but I have no place to slide her in without a major rewrite.
Le sigh.
However, in weight loss news, I saw 135 on the scale this morning, which weight I haven't seen since...Thanksgivingish? Ten more pounds to go...
