First of all...
MUPPETWIZARDOFOZOMGSQUEEEEEE!!!eleventyone!!111!!
*ahem*
Dude. Boone wasn't a red herring. He's dead, for reals. *a solitary tear slides down my alabaster cheek* And now I feel kinda bad about the icon I was (probably still will) make with him in it. The Hubby calls Boone "The Irish Setter," because he's (let's face it) dumb, pretty, and eager to please. Now that he's dead...I'm not sure it would be polite to make that icon.
"Tell Shannon...tell Shannon..." *dies* Tell Shannon I love her? Tell Shannon she's a shallow bitch? Tell Shannon I gave her syphilis? We'll never know.
Jack was/is married. Anyone noticed a ring on his finger? Wonder what happened to her? Interesting. Sea urchin spine transfusion. Ewww. And that was a big fat conclusion he jumped to, but who can blame him, because...
Locke lied about how Boone got hurt, and then disappeared. He was MIA for this ep.
Sawyer gave up all his booze without a single quibble, and the Black/White Male/Female Harry Potter Glasses of Massive Geekness were also MIA for this ep. That made me sad.
Sun and Jin actually had to interact! I hope this is the beginning of something, and those two crazy kids make it after all.
Was I the only one who said "I don't know nothin' about birthin' no babies, Miss Scarlett!" when Jack told Kate to take care of Claire's labor? Just me? Yeah, I'm not a Gone with the Wind fangirl or anything...
Aw, poor Claire worried about how the baby will feel about her, "knowing" she was going to give him up? For the record, babies don't come out nearly that clean. Trust me. And Jin grabbing Charlie and shaking his head when Charlie wanted to go to Claire when she was all in labor was hilarious.
Waah. No Hurley this week.
Shannon and Sayid...meh. I like Sayid way too much to want to see him with her. I did feel bad for her when she was crying over Boone though. I got over it quickly.
And next week's a rerun. Bastards...

Date: 2005-04-07 04:55 am (UTC)Sawyer giving up the booze, no questions. That was interesting. Poor Kate having to deliver the baby alone. Charlie was basically useless. Sun and Jin looking at each other. Lots of looks and such. I didn't think the script was all that great, just average to me. It was the performances that made it.
When Jack finds Locke, all hell is gonna break loose. I feel sorry for Locke because he's lost Boone, whom he almost considered to be a son. But Jack blaming Locke? That's interesting too. Daddy issues for sure.

Date: 2005-04-07 05:44 am (UTC)But, man, Boone died. I didn't think he was a red herring, but I didn't think he would die, either. And man, I thought FlashJack was going to cancel the wedding, but he went through with it. I love how they never tell us everything - like what happened to Jack's wife or how Locke became paralyzed. Of course, it could be that they haven't thought of them.
Anyway: I so totally want to see the Muppets' Wizard of Oz. And yes, I am an Oz fanboy. I've read all 14 Baum Oz books.
