Because, dudes, I've just figured out that I can completely excise Lindsey from this and thus make my life much less complicated. That way, I don't have to deal with his evil plot (whatever it is). And the explanation for Lilah being here? Why, she's keeping an eye on Eve, who is on her first field assignment.

Now all I have to do is break Lilah's contract, send Buffy back to Rome with her tail between her legs, and send Spike and Fred and Wes and Lilah riding off into the sunset. And maybe have Spike sing for Lorne, which is always fun.
