Dear Lord, I've missed this show...
Okay, first off, I need to say that I read the TWoP forums for neat stuff like "Regulation footballs, aisle 8, Nerf footballs aisle 15." Heh.
My Hubby calls Boone "the Irish Setter" because he's dumb and pretty and eager to please. And it looks like the Irish Setter is going to bite it next week. However, Claire might go into labor next week as well...so Heh. Maybe she'll die instead. However, the male-to-female ratio on this island is such that I don't think they'll kill off any of the women. Could be wrong.
Ow, for Locke. Ow ow ow. Poor guy. We still don't know how he wound up in the wheelchair. And now here's another character with daddy issues. Dude, that was just cold. Interesting that he didn't tell anyone about the airplane. He does not want to be rescued. At all. Speaking of the airplane, it's not the same kind as Kate's toy plane. That was a DC-3, and Hubby says this one looks like a Beech 18.
The subplot with Sawyer needing glasses was adorable. We got to see two characters who don't really care for him (Jack and Sayid) help him out anyway. And we got the continuation of the black/white thing with the two pairs of glasses getting welded together. And Jack brought teh funneh with his questions. What Kate was doing there was anyone's guess, but it was cool that she made Sawyer go see Jack for his headaches.
Someone said that if you run the numbers as latitude and longitude, you wind up in Nigeria. I haven't done it myself to check it out, but...interesting. The heroin-filled statues of Mary were creepy, although I realize that that's how drugs are smuggled all the time. I hope our Hobbit doesn't find out about it. Um. Especially if Claire dies. Crap.
No Vincent. That makes me sad.
Michael is learning Korean. Hee! I thought one of the words was "bastard," but someone else said it was "faster," so I guess that means I should watch the show with the captions on.
Can't wait for next week.

Date: 2005-03-31 05:35 am (UTC)The stuff with Jack-Sawyer-Kate was hilarious. Poor Sawyer thought he was gonna die. Paranoid much? Too funny. Overall, a great episode. I can't wait until next week either.

Date: 2005-03-31 06:14 am (UTC)And, man, that was creepy when he was all bloody and saying, "Theresa falls down the stairs. Theresa falls up the stairs." Best and creepiest moment of the episode. Also: the ending. The light!
At first, I thought Locke's father would die and it would turn out that Locke's kidney wasn't a match to him because he wasn't really his father, but then it went in an entirely different direction.
And does anyone think that the Virgin Maries filled with heroine are a sign from the island that they didn't want Locke to rehabilitate Charlie? They want him addicted?

Date: 2005-03-31 06:27 am (UTC)I figure Boone is deader than deadonia. Or, maybe Locke will bite it, but I think Boone is the more likely. Of course, I've been wrong before..
It's good to have the show back!
