agilebritWHY do these things always happen at the most inopportune times? The transformer on the heater can't go out during normal business hours, when Da Hubby is home, or when it's 50 degrees outside. Oh, no. It goes out on a holiday weekend, when he's gone until Monday, and it's 23 degrees outside.
Fortunately, the place I called, the guy they had was on his way back into town, and we were practically on the way, so he was here within an hour of the time I called them. And now we are toasty again. But...OUCH. Not too comfy on the old checkbook. We can afford it, but would rather not, if it's all the same next time to TPTB.
