Now, normally, when our local reviewer gives a movie a star and a half (out of four), that means we'll either like it a lot, or it'll really suck. Unfortunately, this time it sucked.

Dudes, if you want to sell a romance, then (a) your stars have to have more chemistry than these two did; (b) you have to have a script that actually works; (c) your pairing really needs to interact more at the beginning of the movie, instead of having your female half sleeping all the way across a trans-Atlantic flight; (d) if there's a major plot point involving a big reveal that the audience is supposed to know but a character doesn't...it might help if you revealed it to the audience a little more obviously than they did.

It might also help if the male star talked in more than a monotone during the entire movie. Dermot Mulroney is teh hott...but that's all he is. I'm not sure he can act. At all. Since this is all I remember seeing him in.

Blah. I can only hope that "Hitch" is better.

Hee hee hee. Ha ha ha. Hooooo.
Wait, have you seen a Will Smith movie?

Well, at least Lost was good.

Okay, am I weird? I actually like Will Smith quite a lot. I even liked "Wild Wild West;" even though the script was bad, the actors did their best and (almost) salvaged it.

"Lost" was awesome. Poor Charlie. He has...issues. I think he was right, though. Ethan wasn't going to tell them anything. He shouldn't have killed him like that, however; if he doesn't have psychological repercussions for doing that, I'm going to be a tad upset.

Will Smith does campy good - I liked MIB and MIB II, but what he does not do good is serious movies. Like romance.

And Charlie is so messed up now. But dammit! I want some answers!
