Because it's nearly the playoffs, and my favorite football team has clinched home field advantage all the way through, the Steelers icon will be my default until they either (a) lose, or (b) go to the Super Bowl.

The icon is all the sweeter because I managed to find a pic of a Dallas Cowboy missing a tackle on Jerome Bettis as he goes in for a touchdown. And my two favorite teams are the Steelers, and whoever's playing the Cowboys. So. Heh.

I'm still working on the Spillyria Christmas fic. I think I figured out this morning how I'm going to fix it so I get the ending I want, and so it's not too hard on Buffy. Because, really, I like her. I want her to be happy too. Just...not with Spike, mmkay?

At least, not post-Smashed. Season Five or early Season Six Spuffy I can deal with, because the relationship hadn't turned into a trainwreck yet.

Yeah. That went off-topic in a hurry. Leave it to me...

You can like football and NASCAR and still be a geek. However, you have to answer this one question correctly.

Q: You're flipping through the channels and see two things that you want to watch. Do you watch:

1. The football/NASCAR racing that you haven't seen before.

or

2. An episode of Buffy/Angel you've already seen twice and own on DVD, but it has shirtless Spike in it and you want to see him, even though you know you can watch the DVDs later, you want to see it now and it's just not the same if you don't come across it randomly on TV.

And if it's a NASCAR restrictor plate race, then that trumps Shirtless!Spike as well...if I own the DVDs.

Of course...if I don't own the DVDs, then Spike wins.
