HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

And, it wouldn't be a new year without me saying something fannish. And I have a theory about "Lost" that I'm just going to throw out there.

Now, everyone's assuming that the Others kidnaped Claire for her baby; that pretty much seems to be the consensus. However, I've heard that JJ has been known to be *cough* deceptive at times, and I'm wondering if they kidnaped Claire for her own sake. What if they have no women, for some reason? Maybe the last one got eaten by a polar bear or something. So, Claire is obviously fertile; they need some way to keep their population going, so they grab her--not for her baby, but for her baby-making capabilities.

Hubby thinks I'm on crack with this theory. Guess we'll find out sooner or later...

Actually that's something that skimmed through my head as well, but then why not nab other women too? I mean...chances are that even a toothpick like Shannon could sucessfully squeeze out a baby given half a chance, especially if you loosen her up a tad with copious boar meat and fish. *shrug*

I have a feeling we won't see Claire until AFTER the baby is born...and then maybe sans baby which, naturally, would result in the Apocalypse or somesuch. Woe.

Well, I think it wasn't the Others at all who did it - it was Alex, Danielle's son, who infiltrated the camp as Ethan and kidnapped Claire because her baby is the Savior/Destroyer and will BRING ABOUT THE ROBOT APOCLYPSE OF 2025 UNLESS JACK GOES BACK IN TIME AND SAVES CLAIRE FROM ETHAN THE MAN-EATING ROBOT!!!!!!oneone!!one!!!
