Well. Da Boy is about three and a half now. He knows most of the alphabet song, and I think it's about time for him to start associating actual letters and sounds with it. And lo and behold, I remembered that I have a tool for doing so.
I may have mentioned that he likes doing puzzles. Well, my Lovely Sister gave us an alphabet floor puzzle. Each piece is humongous, with a different letter of the alphabet on it, and a corresponding picture. They're like flash cards, really, that connect together. So, what I'm going to do is give him five at a time, and once he can prove to me that he knows what the first five are, he gets the next five, and so forth.
I'm betting he figures out all 26 letters in less than two weeks.
