As a Christian, should I be at all disturbed that I'm able to think up all kinds of really demonic rituals for my fic? Or does that just mean I'm creative? I suppose it should make me feel better that Angelus' ritual to raise the Turok-Han creeped me out, but the fact that I was able to think of it all all kind of bothers me.

Yes, I just wrote another ritual. Not as horrible as the one Angelus used; in fact, it looks pretty tame from where the characters are sitting...but still.

LOL I'm pretty sure they wouldn't work, since I'm making them up out of whole cloth. But they have some pretty nasty results in the fics.

I think thjat just as there are all kinds of people, there are all kinds of Christians and some are meant to study/see/know more about such things then others. Hacving a practical knowledge of such things does not mean you are evil or corrupted.

Instead it shows you how to recognize them and think about them and also shows you know the difference between reality and fantasy and that uif one remembers fantasy is just that, it is not evil or harmful.

As long as you don't start performing ritual sacrices of cats and little children on Halloween, then you just have a really good imagination.
