I'm finding problems with the quiz. Question 10: Which would curb violent crime most? The choices are gun control, mandatory sentences or both. I'm really neither on this issue, but if that's the debate, I'm leaning more toward mandatory sentences. I got a 30 and a 3.5 on the fascist scale.

Well, from what I've seen, gun control doesn't curb violent crime, it just gives criminals free rein, because it removes a mechanism for law-abiding people to defend themselves. After all, criminals, by definition, don't obey the law--but people like Sarah Brady and Rosie O'Donnell seem to think that if they just enact another gun restriction, the lawbreakers will throw up their hands and say "Oh! Okay! We'll obey this law." Which is patently ridiculous.
