"Coraline" is MADE OF WIN. The story is fabulous, the imagery is stunning. Hie thee to the theater and see it NOW NOW NOW. Also, stay through the credits. Because they're pretty.

*pants*

While at the theater, we saw a poster for "Wolverine" that was also made of awesome. With the wrong release date on it.

And I still haven't seen a "The Soloist" poster yet. *cries*

Coraline is just FUN. It's just GREAT, isn't it?! You should read the book too, if you liked the movie. It's one of my new favorite movies easily. It'll win some awards, I'm sure.

I'm excited for Wolverine, which is funny because I'm not the type of person you'd think would be... but that's what I get for having friends in the comic book world, haha!

I want to see The Soloist SO BAD. AUGH.

I'm going to see Coraline on Monday when child unit is at Holiday Camp. I wanted to go see it with her but the previews scared the crap out of her (it was in 3-D). Very strange considering this is the child who has worn out her DVD copies of 'Corpse Bride' and 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' (I helped a lot with that last one).

I haven't seen any 'The Soloist' posters either. Depressing but I take solace in looking at the cover art on my iPod for the trailer. :-)

Da Boy (who is nearly eight) thought it was "too scary." And it probably is more scary for a kid than something like Corpse Bride or Nightmare Before Christmas because it's about actual kids and so it could happen to them. Even the opening credit sequence is creepy as hell. So, yeah.
