Over at Astronomy Picture of the Day there are a couple of twerps who post the same, mindless, meaningless, automatic comments each and every single day. Day after day, week after week, month after month after month… What really tickles their fancy is to be noticed, to have people get red-faced yelling at them to shut up with the moronic repetition already! It's a non-moderated feed; there's literally nothing that anyone can do - except leave; APOD can be linked to directly, so they've pretty well emptied the theatre - they frog-croak their unvarying refrain to only each other, now.
There are some five million plus people on Livejournal. It doesn't take all kinds to make a world, but the world has all kinds in it.
