AUGH.

So, I'm having trouble with classifications here.

I have a very bad tendency to write things that don't fit comfortably into a genre. The Werewolf Fic? Normally something with werewolves is a horror story, but there's nothing scary about this one. It's funny. So, is it horror? Or fantasy? Urban fantasy, even though it doesn't take place in a city, but does take place in "modern" times? It's not really even all that "dark," so those markets are probably out too? This doesn't matter when I'm writing it, but it sure does when I'm picking markets...

The CatFeet story? I have no idea what that is. It's sort of horror, I guess, especially the ending. Of course the problem with that is that most horror markets want 5000 words or less, and it's 6000 words.

Abducted!Werewolf? Er. I have a werewolf, and I have aliens. What's that? Is it SF, or fantasy? Or horror? Because, ew, body count.

And again I say: AUGH.

And I still need to figure out what I'm writing next. Cuz, I got nothin'. Of course, I can still do some editing work on the BearFic, and I suppose I could poke the A&tS story a little more...

If it's funny, try Andromeda Spaceways.

This sounds like the lament of someone who likes Joss Whedon's work. :) Genre buster extraordinaire! I'd send to any market that might apply and let them figure out if it fits or not. It is horror with funny. It's science ficiton with a twist. Just keep sending it til it finds a good home.
