I'm so glad. I remember how thrilled I was to go to a writer's convention in Tucson in 1985. I met authors I'd been reading since I was a spratling - met and spoke to them. And asked good questions, and was excruciatingly polite, and made a good impression.
Amazing.
(As opposed to a friend of mine, who was nineteen, went running down stairs and slammed into Ray Bradbury, sent him sprawling. She's mortified to this day.)
