to my links list. My Mom's book "Sara's Search" is coming out very very soon, so I'm pimping her website. She has some free advice for budding writers, and why writer's groups are useful.

Of course, most writer's groups turn their noses up at fanfic writers, but I can definitely see why joining one would be helpful. Ah well. I am a fanfic writer, right now. No apologies. Will I branch out and write my own stuff with my own characters and settings sometime? Probably. But for now, I'm having fun writing Spike.

I'm not really sure; I think it has something to do with murders in a nursing home, although that might be a different one of hers that's either coming out later, or in a different series.

She's had short stories published both in online magazines and in Futures magazine, among others. "Sara's Search" is her first published novel. :-)
