Joan of Arcadia has already been renewed for a second season - it consistently has good ratings even though it is on Fridays at 8. Tru Calling, however, is complete crap. And yet Fox hasn't cancelled it (though they probably won't renew it for a second season). If you want to know how bad it is, read Shack's recaps of it at TWoP.
