*ponders* I can haz "end." It came in under 9,000 words. Yay.
And I have a problem, I think.
I stuck a loaded werewolf on the mantle in Act One. But he doesn't go fangs and fur in Act Three. Or at all.
In fact, Ben doesn't even kill the guy (but someone else does), although he saves the girl (who, it turns out, isn't actually worth saving). This makes me think that my stakes aren't high enough. Or something.
I'll let it sit for a little while before diving back in.
But, hey. END.
