My problem here is that Ben is not a murderer (which he keeps reminding me), and I ... kind of need him to be. This thing has suddenly gotten a lot more twisty and complicated than I thought it was going to be.

Go figure. It don't ever go smooth, does it?

I was hoping it would come in under 5,000 words. Now I'm thinking I'll be lucky if it comes in under 10,000. The good news is that I've scribbled 3,000 words since Thursday, so at least the words are coming. And I know my next plot waypoint.

I wonder how much cooperation the cops would give a PI who doesn't work for the family anymore, or if Ben would somehow have an in-source in the LAPD. Maybe another werewolf he could call in the department. But that's the next next plot waypoint.

I just cracked 4,000 words in Hitman!Ben. Which means I'm averaging about a thousand a day.

Too many words, not enough Plot. Also, somehow, my waypoints got reversed.

Yeah, I have no idea. Is it bad that I can't wait to get to revisions on this thing?

At least the words are coming. Even if I'm going to end up hacking half of them out.

I just realized, I'm never happy with my writing. Either the words aren't coming and I'm completely blocked, or I've got word-vomitosis, and the words are coming in a torrent and they suck (or, you know, I think they do). I have no happy medium.
