And thus time for...

THE WEEKLY WORD COUNT. /reverb

Last week's word count: 39,563
This week's word count: 47,502
Word count for the week: 7,939

SO CLOSE TO EIGHT THOUSAND. Gorramit, had I done the math last night I might have pushed a little harder.

Today...I have no idea what I'm going to write. I'll poke what I did yesterday and edit it into something that doesn't utterly suck and then see where I'm at.

I really need to write the actual beginning of this thing.

I really need to be paying attention to the business end of this business again. This would include printing one thing out and shipping it to Asimov's, reformatting another thing and emailing it to Damnation, and deciding where a couple of others actually need to go. In between all that, I need to check and see if I can send the BeeFic off to AnthologyBuilder yet, and possibly poke Darwin to see what the status on the Werewolf Fic is.

And I need to get my 250 words in, and we're going to see "Up" this afternoon.

*keysmash*

Stuff like this paralyzes me, y'all. It feels overwhelming, and so I freeze up and don't do any of it. Which is stupid, and makes me feel even more inadequate. This is bad and I should get over it. :/

Lists. Lists are good.

RUN. Do not walk. RUN to the theater and see this.

Bring a tissue though. More than one, in fact. Because DAMN. Serious tissue warning.

In the "special thanks" part of the credits, they gave special thanks to some doggy day care place. You just know that they went there and studied the dogs. Studied them HARD. The dogs were perfect.

And the SHORT. OMG, y'all.

Seriously, I don't know when I've spent a more perfect day at the movies.
