I have had a productive day.

For one thing, I've scribbled over a thousand words, quadrupling my daily goal and making my word count for the week somewhere around...five thousand. I've snapped Ben right in half (again) and gone a fair way towards breaking my Lady!Vamp as well.

Do I know what's next? Oh, hell no. This particular scene wasn't even linear to the narrative; it's a scene stuffed between one where he wakes up from a nightmare (and turns down comfort!sex--again) and another where he asks her to promise to kill him if it gets too bad (and tells her that he can make love to her and not pretend she's Janni, after she confesses that she loves him when she clearly does not want him to know).

Obviously, I will have many many many other scenes scattered between all of these. This one is coming together...oddly. I'm not sure it will ever be actually coherent. Or remotely publishable. I can't read it without shaking, but I'm biased and invested, so...yeah.

ANYWAY. I did that. And then yesterday, some new Sherlock Holmes pix came out, and I went "OMG YUM" and decided to plug one particular picture into my SH wallpaper template.

And then I find out that the trailer is attached to the "Terminator: Salvation" movie coming out in a couple of weeks, which I was ambivalent about seeing. But now I must.

To make my shame and humiliation complete, I'll confess that the only reason I want to see the new Star Trek movie is because Zachary Quinto is in it.

I'll be over here, turning in my Geek Card.
