So, I'm running the not!kkbb/im story

He had to leave for a four-day trip today.
Where did we stop?
Right at the part of the climax where one character gets shot in the head.
*evil laughter*
Poor guy has to wait four days for the last sixteen pages.
In other news, I still haven't heard from either Baen's or Writers of the Future, so I guess I'm going to send the Faerie Show fic to WotF for this quarter. Deadline's tomorrow. So what are you guys sending them?
ETA: I just checked the blog again, and they put up the finalists and semi-finalists for the quarter. I'm not on either list. le sigh.
