This thing is galloping towards a conclusion.
Too quickly.
I have more than 10,000 words to go. I'm hitting my climax, oh, NOW. And I'm thinking that it won't actually take that long, honestly, and then I'm going to have this long stretch of boring crap before it finally stumbles to a halt in a cesspit of suck.
And now I'm finding out that there are two rifles--the M4 and the M4A1. I need it to be the M4, because I like the idea of the three-round burst better than full-auto fire; this seems more practical to me in close quarter combat. And according to Wiki (which I realize isn't necessarily the be-all and end-all source of information), the M4A1 doesn't do a three-round burst. I'm just glad I decided to look it up before assuming anything because I hate getting details like that wrong--it's like when I realized that, duh, cellphones don't have dial tones.
And now I suppose I should, you know...write. Yeah.
