Sorry about that rather pissy screed I regaled you all with last night. I was kind of discouraged, I guess. But my nose is back to the grindstone, my Writing Buddy gave me the kick in the ass I needed, and the Abducted!Werewolf story is in the editing stages right now with a big fat END at the bottom. Go, me. I may post it later tonight after I'm done massaging it a bit.
Needs a title. As always. I'm thinking "First Contact," but that's so painfully cliche...
I need to keep my eyes on the positive. I have two stories being looked at by senior editors at two different publications. I have one story being published. I got a rejection that included a "some nice writing here" from a publication that doesn't always say that. And one story made the quarterfinals at WotF. I just feel like I'm thisclose, y'all.
