So, I've got this gee-whiz new computer...

And I'm wondering what all you icon geniuses use for a graphics program. I've liked the last two icons I've made, but I'd like to be able to do animations and such. So...features, cost, ease of use, etc? What's good? What's terrible and should be avoided if I want to keep my sanity?
