We went up to Park City today for the big Mustang show. I don't think I've ever seen that many Mustangs in one place before. All told, there were probably at least a hundred or so, plus other Ford specialty cars such as Cobras, Cougars, Torinos, and a Sunbeam Tiger--which I've never actually seen before, so that was neat. I think the most unusual modification there was a 1966 Mustang Wagon, which made me go "Wubba?" Hubby thought that was a very appropriate reaction.

After we got done looking at Mustangs, we drove into Park City, which we've never actually done before, even though we've lived in this area for over 12 years. I would call the style of the town "aggressively quaint." Very much an artsy town catering to skiers. I'd like to go back sometime when it's a bit cooler.

Dude. When did "Synchronized Diving" become an Olympic sport? How interesting. So, yeah. We're going to be glued to the TV for the next few weeks, because I *heart* the Olympics. I like the Equestrian events and the Gymnastics best...and I'll be rooting for the Iraqi Soccer team, just because.

I've done nothing, fic-wise, today. I'll probably open it up a little later and stare at it, see if I can get anything going, but the heat really took it out of me today, so I'm not really holding out hope for anything.
